Magoo Turns Ten!





In two weeks, Magoo will turn ten years old. It seems like yesterday that he stole our hearts in that pet store.

In his honour, Smudge, Bella and Dolce want to hold a Blogging Birthday Party for him. Bella thought the best way would be for everyone to get together like they did for the Nap-A-Thon. Smudge said it would be neat if everyone could wear funny hats. Dolce was too busy jumping at the fridge to offer any opinion. So on March 3, 2006, we will be having a party for the old grump. Mom and Dad said that there will be games and prizes and catnip and tuna cakes for everybody. To celebrate, Mom and Dad would like for everyone to send a picture of themselves wearing a party hat.B-Day Pictures 



Party Update from Mom & Dad: Since very few of Magoo's blogging friends like to wear hats, the dress code has been changed to general party attire. If you don't want to dress up, you are still welcome to attend.

    Great idea! Wow, Magoo is almost zactly 10 years older than me. Mom, I need a hat and your clicky box.

    Bonnie's not pleased with the hat idea... does it hafta be on her head?

    We will never allow Mom to put hats on us, so can't come to the party! But we'll wish Magoo a Happy Purrthday anyway.

    i don't think i can wear a hat either. i could wear my sparkly red bow tie maybe?? let me know, 'cause i'd like to come, but i don't know 'bout the hat part.

    We would like to come, but we are anti hatters (not hunters....we love to hunt). Mittens is the Mad Hatter......hehe.......can Mistrie come too? She is outside all the time, but she did come to the nap a thon for a little while and really enjoyed it.

    We want to come too - we'll try and let mommy put hats on us, but if we don't like it, we will put on somefing else that would be

    My mom is already planning on trying to get us to wear hats for a photo.

    Not a good idea.

    We will be there for the festivities, though! It's not every day that an old geezer like Magoo throws a wicked bash!

    Mom says maybe she can fix a pictor to *look* like we're wearing hats without actually putting hats on us. I don't unnerstand.
    Mom also has a pictor of Bonnie with a toy mouse on her head - does that count?
