My first day outside
Our dad let us outside!Yay!
Of course, I had to wear my new pink collar and had to go on the leash. But I was still outside and as any cat can tell you that is one of the bestest things ever.
I loved the sand and the patio, but I wasn't too crazy about the grass. It's still a little wet. Do you know how hard it is to get dirt stains out of white fur!
My brothers and sister were outside with me too. Magoo and Smudge behaved themselves, but Bella went for an unauthorized stroll into the neighbour's yard. Dad had to run around the house and try and coax her out from under their deck. he was not happy with Bella. Dad says that now Bella has to wear her collar like I do.

Thanks for the sympathy and thanks for letting me know you read my blog! Dolce looks very much like Miss Katrina. I tried the harness and leash on her and the struggle to get the harness on was too much for me.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy reading about you guys. Too much fun!
I love the harness! It's so comfy and soft. One time, beandad put the leash on my collar and I broke out of my collar and went for a sprint which ended under the deck. I love the underneath of the deck! My beans were furry mad but I just lounged. So I have to wear the harness if I want to go outside.
ReplyDeleteYou look furry pretty. I don't wear collars. Mama never tried a harness on me.. something about the ones who went before me who hated to go outside.
ReplyDeleteDolce am sooooo cute! He looks very patient in the picshur. Mommmmm you has to get us one of those leashes!! Now! (Beau stomps his paw).
ReplyDeleteFrom the Mom:
I think it would be a good idea for Beau to go out and get his scent around the outside in case he ever does get out he'll be familiar with the territory.
oh, you'll have so many great adventures!
ReplyDeleteOh Bella! Your bee-ooo-tee-ful fur shud not be ruined by a collar.

I was out once an I don't efur want to go again. Mom tried to put my harness on me again today, so I ran under the bed and made it hard to get me to take it off. I'm happy watching OUTside from INside! Dolce, I fink pink's your color. And I know zactly how hard it is to keep white clean!
ReplyDeleteI gotted out again today too Dolce. I have a blue harness and except when it goes over my head I like it. I like the grass..there's bugs in there. But yeaterdsy mom found a wood tick in the water dish and now she's all worried about letting us out.
ReplyDeleteI has a purple harness and leash, but I have been so good, Mom lets me out without it. She doesnt know I am planning a get-away........I would like to explore like Mistrie gets to. You look spechul lovely with that pink collar.

Isis and I never get to go outside unless we get lucky. By 'lucky', I mean one of my human pet's friends comes over and accidentally stands at the front door too long. Isis and I will then scoot out into the open yard, but my pet always seems to know when we've done this.
ReplyDeleteIsis says she adores your pink collar by the way and that she doesn't understand why you let this Daddy person get Bella out from under the deck. Maybe it was cooler there!
You guys are so lucky! My mom still refuses to let us go outside--harnessed or not. I just tell her "Who made you the boss of the door?"
ReplyDeleteShe's not amused...
We both look so alike. :)

You look stunning in your pink collar, my dear. I had a pink baby collar, but I outgrew that one. Now I wear purple. I think it contrasts nicely with my fur.
