We Are The Champions

Edmonton "Super Underdog Extraordinaire" Oilers 4
Detriot "Somebody Clipped Our" Red Wings 3

Magoo does his funky hockey team winning gloating over his good buddy Edsel's misfortune happy dance...

Update: Now that Magoo has gotten his unsportscatlike gloating out of his system. He gives three cheers to the Detroit Red Wings who played really tough and made this series very exciting to watch.

  1. glad your team won, but it's hard to accept defeat gracefully when you feel a goal should be disputed. we are still waiting for the stars/sabres series to finish after all these years. No, we don't hold a grudge against the refs at all!

  3. Wow - you guys have a ref at home? If we had one, we'd be in the penalty box lotz for "un-sportscat-like-behavior"!

  4. This is how my human pet felt when the Steelers won the Super Bowl. She is from Pits-in-burger after all, and she loves the Steelers very, very, very much!

  8. Is Hockey like Baseball? That's all we're allowed to watch in our house. And football too. My Mom and I really like reading your blog. Thanks for your comment to her. I guess all humans who love animals have to leave some behind sometimes. She's feeling a little better today and starting to make preparations for my new sister. This should be interesting!

  9. The Mom is a huge hockey freak. We'll just be sitting there, enjoying a nice nap when all of a sudden there's this loud yelling from the other room. We go in to make sure the Mom is already and she goes "The Devils scored! Whoohooo!" Um. OK. I've just learned to accept that she loses her mind in the winter and then regains her sanity when the season is over.
