Party Update - Sunday

First things first. Whoever brought the Niptini mix, My dad is not very happy. He got a call from the police about all the racket last night. It seems some cats snuck out and were tormenting the neighbors' dogs at 3:00 am. I also have heard that no one appreciated our stirring rendition of "Cat Scratch Fever". There were also some sightings of cats running from house to house and ringing doorbells and then taking off.

Also, to the five cats that were pushing plants off the shelves and the three cats who were judging the speed, style and overall impact of the crash, my dad says that your parent will be notified of your antics.

My mom is sure glad she put up the old drapes. The Race to the Top was pretty spectacular. Of course, it was the youngsters who made the best showing. Dolce, Scout, Victor and Charlie were all very impressive. Unfortunately it came to an end when Magoo (17lbs), Eric (22lbs) and Shaggy (18lbs) attempted to race each other. No drapes are designed to hold that much weight.

I gots to go. I need to go continue the talk I was having with Turtle last night. And Dad is putting out some fresh Tuna and Whitefish bites in the dining room.

Smudge

PS. To remind everyone, there is no such thing as a gatecrasher at this party. Magoo only turns ten once, and he wants it to blow the lid off the house.

  2. Oh dear. Mum heard from Magoo's Dad. I just love to push things off of whatever. So anything I can move, I do!

Mum readed this as I popped home and had a chat with me about my action. Just because I do things at home, doesn't mean I should do them in public. She said I better learn to behave or she might not let me go to any more of these get togethers. Even worse, she won't let me have a birthday party.

So, furry sorry Magoo and family. I 'pologize for breaking things and making a mess.

  22. Bloody Marys, I mean Mousies are good for Niptini hangovers.
Hey William that doorbell thing was fun. I liked it when all the sleepy humans came to their doors when we rang the bells & ran! Heh, heh. You gotta be a black cat to do it effectively! -Scooby

  25. Hey, I finally made it! Just found out about this cool party. How come no one ever tells me anything??? I brought some new prime catnip toys with me! Who wants one? And I want a niptini.

    ReplyDelete
  26. ooh. Can I try one of those Bloody Mousies? I haven't had those before. We have had so many tub hockey matches, I don't know if I can keep them all straight. But everyone has done well. Even the cheer squad!

I popped home, mum was watching Oscar too. But I don't think it was the kittie Oscar. But not as much snow, so teleporting hasn't been bad. Plus she finished her cro-shay blankie. She is starting another one.

  27. Hi Beau, good to meet you in purrson finally!! We didn't realize you didn't know 'bout the party or we woulda told you! Those are cool nip toys, we'll play! There's still some salmon left so get some of that to go with your niptini!

Hey, has anycat seen Oreo lately? We know he left to go check on that Norm guy, did he come back?

    ReplyDelete
  28. Hey now, it's not exactly true that there was the ringing of doorbells with running off.

    What REALLY happened...

There were five of us. First Edsel went up and rang and WAITED. When the people answered he said "Is Max there?" and they said no.

Then Bonnie went up and rang and whent hey answered she said "Is Max there?" and they said no.

Then Buddah and Oreo did the same.

So then I went up and rang the bell and when they answered I said "HI, I'm Max. Has anyone come by looking for me?"

Sheesh, People...they were sooooo not amused...

  35. HAPHY DIRTHBAY MAPHGOO!! Forry I'm late(gulp). Man that is some good salmon. Is there any of the crab left. HGL and I and some of the others were having so much fun outside that we forgot all about the party in here. Since we don't get out much, it's very hard to be confined when there are no rules. Could someone please go out there and make Lucky come in and at least make an appearance.

  36. Hey! Where's Magoo. Shouldn't he make a speech or somethin'? Then we can toast, or roast him, or whatever.

  37. Happy B-day Magoo. Wow 10 huh? Sorry about no comin' in sooner but I was havin' nice conversation with Mistrie Rose and it turns out that we have some distant relatives in common that she hadn't seen in a while and I filled her in while I teleported her back to her house. Then we did some serious snugglin'. And next thing you know I had to tell I was nooderd. Oh well, maybe in another life.
