Magoo - Mancat Monday with Extra Maple

Magoo Mediates Maple Munchies on Monday!

I, Magoo, being a good (actually a great) Canadian cat have to tell my furriends about my latest culinary obsession...MAPLE FUDGE!!!!!

You see Dad's Mom and Dad went to Atlantic Canada to do some research on some of Dad's ancestors. So they went through New Brunswick (I wonder what happened to the Old Brunswick?), Nova Scotia, and P.E.I. They brought Dad back some real Canadian Maple Fudge (Dad checked the label to be sure.)

When he was having some, I gotta whiff and I must tell you it smells fantastic. So I asked very nicely if I could have a small taste. (Dad: Magoo's way of asking nice is to extract his claws and pull your hand towards his mouth.) He gave me a small piece. It was amazing. I love Maple Fudge! Hooray for Maple Fudge!

  3. Gandalf and Grayson,

It was Maple Fudge. There is no chocolate in it.

  6. Oooh Maple Fudge, that sounds soooo amazing!!! We love real Maple syrup from Canada. My husband's parents live near the border of Canada, and we love visiting to get the good syrup, the dark kind! Delicious. Maple candy is good too!!

  9. Hey guess what! We've been eating maple fudge too and we agree, it's lishus. Our Beans have just been to those same places and brought fudge and syrup back with them. We've licked the syrup too.

  10. Magoo, sweets may cause dental problems in cats just like humans. If your Dad is going to give you fudge, make sure he brushes your teeth afterwards. My cats like the poultry flavored tooth paste the best. Stay away from human brands. They create too much foam.
